I had to pause everything to write a review for these guys. This place is a quick walk from my dorm -- I've sat down in the restaurant once or twice but mostly call in my order and pick it up. The food is absolutely delicious and extremely well-priced, and the quality's a given every time I go, but the reason this is a five star review is because of the people working here. They're always so lovely and accommodating -- just tonight, I went to pick up an order and they had it waiting and gave it to me straight away. Still, I was receiving a phone call and opted to sit down for several minutes. I was offered tea and sugar, and told to stay as long as necessary, even after the restaurant itself had closed. Efes is simply lovely, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I'll be coming here for as long as I'm living in Halifax. Thank you guys for making my night. Also -- sampling the baklava is a transcendental experience. Some of the best I've ever had.
